Interia
We are Universidad Nacional de Colombia developers building AI agents that merge engineering with creativity to deliver real-world impact.
Project Description
“Be your own Interior Designer, design your room through clicks, not endless chats.”
Interia is an agentic interior design interface that transforms a room photo into an interactive, editable design workflow. Instead of returning text recommendations, the agent analyzes the uploaded image, builds a structured Room State, detects fixed and editable elements, maps them onto a visual grid, and generates contextual UI controls such as confirmation forms, design preference panels, refinement cards, atomic design patches, preview controls, and fidelity reports.
Users can lock important room elements, confirm detected objects, choose style, budget, goals, and constraints, and refine specific items like lamps, rugs, wall art, plants, or textiles. Each selection updates the Room State as a controlled design patch. When the user requests a preview, Interia generates a constrained redesign and validates whether the original room structure, camera angle, and locked elements were preserved.
The prototype uses Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, and an agent-oriented architecture prepared for CopilotKit + AG-UI. The system is structured around a state-driven workflow where agent outputs are translated into functional interface components, including visual grids, confirmation panels, design boards, refinement surfaces, preview actions, and validation reports. Interia moves beyond chat by letting users click, confirm, refine, apply, compare, and validate AI-generated designs through live generative UI.
